Athletic Training Services are provided for all Home JV and Varsity athletic events.
Regular school visit office hours are: Tuesday and Fridays 3pm-6pm

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE ATHLETIC TRAINER AT YOUR SCHOOL?
The role of the Athletic Trainer includes, but is not limited to:
Access to me or other colleagues in the medical field (specifically orthopedics), Monday-Friday for sports injury consultations.
Injury prevention (aka “prehab”)
Free evaluation of injuries/advice, treatment and plan of care
Rehabilitative techniques such as exercise prescription and positional release technique, access to therapeutic modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, IASTM or electric stimulation if deemed appropriate
Management/Return to Play
Injury status/participation recommendations for safely returning your child to sport
Emergency assistance when on-site
Referrals to physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible to student athletes.
ImPACT Baseline Testing (hosted at School) for all high school student-athletes.( see Concussion Test information)
It is the goal of the Athletic Trainer to return the athlete back to play as soon as safely possible.
