RETURN TO PLAY PROGRESSION

Any athlete determined to have a concussion will be removed from the remainder of their game/practice for the day. Any concussed athlete must then follow the MSHSL Return to Play protocol under the direct supervision of the school Athletic Trainer or other Appropriate Health Care Provider.

ImPACT Concussion Recognition and Management Program

ImPACT is a computer-based neuro-cognitive assessment to aid in concussion management. ImPACT helps in assessing a head injury by offering objective measurements on reaction time, memory and other symptoms.
